Welcome to ADK Whiteface Chalet – your perfect Adirondack retreat! Nestled in the woods with stunning mountain views, this luxurious cabin offers everything you need for a memorable getaway near Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. Whether you're here to relax, explore, or connect with family and friends, our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom chalet comfortably sleeps 8 and welcomes up to 3 well-behaved dogs!

With a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, this chalet is designed for comfort and fun. Step outside onto the deck to soak in the private hot tub, enjoy a meal at the Trex dining table, or gather around the fire pit for stargazing and storytelling. Inside, cozy up by the floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace, watch your favorite shows on Smart TVs, or prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. If needed, there's a table and chair in the kitchen to use for working on your laptop.

The open-concept living area features country decor, with pine ceilings and shiplap walls creating a warm and inviting ambiance. One bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor, making it an excellent option for guests with limited mobility, while two additional bedrooms upstairs offer privacy and comfort, including a private balcony retreat in one room.

Our chalet is perfectly situated for adventure lovers! Bring your gear for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, and water sports. You’re just minutes from the slopes of Whiteface Mountain, miles of scenic hiking trails, and the charming town of Lake Placid. In the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or cozy up inside after a day of exploration.

This home offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, including high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and thoughtful touches like a pack-n-play for families and a park BBQ grill for outdoor dining. With its serene .9-acre setting, stunning mountain views, and close proximity to outdoor activities, ADK Whiteface Chalet is the perfect home base for your Adirondack adventure.

A high chair is available upon request. All linens are included. The bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning units.

Wireless internet plus a land line for local phone calling (USA only) are conveniently provided. Long-distance calls are not included. You may use WIFI apps for long-distance or video calls.

For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th, we are pleased to provide the main bedroom and the living room with air conditioning units

The following items are minimally supplied (enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, quilts, pillows, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We supply salt and pepper but do not supply other kitchen spices, condiments, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, or charcoal.

With the home situated on a private .9-acre property, guests can enjoy tranquility and scenic mountain views, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our home is ideally situated just 3 miles from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, a twenty-minute drive from Lake Placid, minutes from Lake Everest, and miles of hiking trails ranging from relaxed beginner trails to harder climbs.

Lake Everest is in Wilmington. It has a beach for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking, and in winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. There is also a picnic area, pavilion, and playground! For easy scenic hikes in Wilmington, be sure to visit the beautiful Flume and Hardy Rd trails.

Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies and boasts over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, and 11 lifts. It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders and expert glades and slides for the advanced!

Lake Placid is a charming, all-season resort town with a Main Street, unique shops, loads of restaurants, sporting and cultural events, a movie theatre, mini-golf, and a waterfront park with live music featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets and other conveniences.

Adirondack-Vacation rental homes are kept peak condition, and the owners and rental team take tremendous pride in ensuring that they are perfect for each guest's vacation!

There is a cleaning fee, Damage Protection Policy fee, and 5% Essex County bed tax. The Damage Protection fee covers accidental damage to furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows, doors, up to $1,500.

For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
